Grilled Portabella and Turkey Muffuletta
- 1 large sourdough roll or muffuletta loaf
- 1-1/2 pounds of deli sliced Thin 'n Trim Turkey
- 1 portabella mushroom, grilled
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing
- 1 red onion
- 2 lettuce leaves
To assemble this delicious sandwich, slice roll in half. Generously pour balsamic salad dressing onto both halves. Place one piece of lettuce on each half. On the bottom half, layer Thin ‘n Trim’s low sodium turkey deli meat. Then slice grilled Portabella mushroom and red onion in thin strips and place on top of turkey. Reassemble roll by placing top back on and slice to serve.
This sandwich is generous enough to serve 2-4 people, so invite friends!

Try adding olive tapenade or chopped green olive salad to make this an authentic New Orleans Muffuletta
